This City Fund sponsored prep course is for the New York State clinical lab licensure and ASCP generalist certification exam.   The course is free for 1199/City Fund members.

• This prep course is offered for 18 sessions.  The course is offered for two sessions (7- 9 p.m.) per week; a total of four hours a week.
• The course begins on Tuesday, November 10^th and ends on Tuesday, January 26^th.  Please see the schedule below.  Note the holiday breaks.
• The course will be delivered live on Zoom by Stony Brook University clinical lab technology faculty.  The sessions are interactive which allow you to work closely with the faculty.

In order to participate in this exam review course, you must have:

• Completed the Medical Lab Technician or Medical Lab Technology Degree or currently practicing as a Medical Lab Technician or Medical Lab Technologist.
• Been a full-time or part-time employee for at least one year at a New York City agency/facility participating in the 1199SEIU/City of New York Education, Child and Eldercare Fund.

Like you are experiencing in the clinical lab technology profession, there is also a shortage of clinical lab technology faculty.  This prep course is offered once a year.   If you register for the course and unable to participate, please let us know immediately so we give the seat to another member.
